Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bjarne Melgaard could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art | New York auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 1,008.00 (€ 890.62) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bjarne Melgaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" in May 2013 with an auction result of SEK 2,500,000.00 (€ 290,652.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.500.000,00 (€ 290.652,91).
