In March this year Phillips held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included the work Outergaze Violent Group Disco Version by Bjarne Melgaard. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,430.00 (€ 10,513.25), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bjarne Melgaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" in May 2013 with an auction result of SEK 2,500,000.00 (€ 290,652.91).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Outergaze Violent Group Disco Version von Bjarne Melgaard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.430,00 (€ 10.513,25) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bjarne Melgaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Kill Me Before I Do It Myself" im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.500.000,00 (€ 290.652,91).
