Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Bill Woodrow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in August 2005. In the THE HOUSE SALE auction, the work Enjoy sold for USD 3,360.00 (€ 2,725.06) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Bill Woodrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Round the Kitchen Table in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bill Woodrow erzielte im August 2005 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion THE HOUSE SALE wurde die Arbeit Enjoy für USD 3.360,00 (€ 2.725,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bill Woodrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Round the Kitchen Table im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68).
