Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bill Jensen could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Lzz 27; And Two Companion Works changed hands for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,392.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Jensen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Givers and Takers, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bill Jensen konnte im Januar 2013 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Für andere Arbeiten von Bill Jensen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Givers and Takers beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.423,18) versteigert wurde.
