Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bill Jensen could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Lzz 27; And Two Companion Works changed hands for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,392.52) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Jensen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Givers and Takers, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,423.18).
