Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Bill Henson was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,748.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bill Henson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 1987-88, which sold at auction in May 2005 for AUD 45,410.00 (€ 27,913.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bill Henson kam im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.748,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Bill Henson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled 1987-88 beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für AUD 45.410,00 (€ 27.913,78) versteigert wurde.
