Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bill Brandt could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Classic Photographs auction, the work Portrait of a Young Girl, Eaton Place changed hands for USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,907.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Brandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Van Gogh'S Room In The Asylum Of St. Paul-De-Mausole (St. Rémy)' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 265,000.00 (€ 170,220.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bill Brandt konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
