Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 158,500.00 (€ 121,186.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bicci di Lorenzo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Nativity, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 368,750.00 (€ 431,128.58).
