The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 350,000.00 (€ 315,514.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Bicci di Lorenzo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2016 the work The Nativity was auctioned for GBP 368,750.00 (€ 431,128.58).
