The work Madonna And Child With Saints John The Baptist And Peter by Bicci di Lorenzo was sold in the Master Paintings and Sculpture Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 106,250.00 (€ 87,011.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bicci di Lorenzo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Nativity in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 368,750.00 (€ 431,128.58).
