Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Lotus by Bian Shoumin was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December this year. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,831.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bian Shoumin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Geese and Other Subjects in June this year with an auction result of HKD 1,260,000.00 (€ 147,230.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Lotus von Bian Shoumin kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.831,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bian Shoumin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Geese and Other Subjects im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.260.000,00 (€ 147.230,77).
