Upper estimate price exceeded by 60 %.
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Geese And Reeds by Bian Shoumin. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,126.30), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bian Shoumin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album of Geese and Other Subjects in June this year with an auction result of HKD 1,260,000.00 (€ 147,230.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geese And Reeds von Bian Shoumin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.126,30) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bian Shoumin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album of Geese and Other Subjects im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.260.000,00 (€ 147.230,77).
