Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Geese On The Waterfront by Bian Shoumin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 21,103.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 220,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bian Shoumin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Album of Geese and Other Subjects in June this year with an auction result of HKD 1,260,000.00 (€ 147,230.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Geese On The Waterfront von Bian Shoumin kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 21.103,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bian Shoumin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Album of Geese and Other Subjects im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.260.000,00 (€ 147.230,77).
