Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Andhra Column by Beverly Pepper was sold in the Contemporary Art | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,120.00 (€ 13,359.25). Admittedly, works by Beverly Pepper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ligne Scolpite II in September 2018 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 80,665.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Andhra Column von Beverly Pepper wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.120,00 (€ 13.359,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Beverly Pepper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ligne Scolpite II im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 80.665,98).
