This artwork by Bernard Leach achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2014. In the Made In Britain auction, the work Bowl With Owl Design sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,846.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard Leach have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vase With 'Leaping Fish' Design in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,346.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bernard Leach erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made In Britain wurde die Arbeit Bowl With Owl Design für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.846,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Leach auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vase With 'Leaping Fish' Design im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.346,80).
