In the Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art auction, the work An Bit Of Old London sold for USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,106.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Benjamin Walter Spiers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Un po' di Roma in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,926.62).

In der Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit An Bit Of Old London für USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.106,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Benjamin Walter Spiers auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Un po' di Roma im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 56.926,62).
