The work Study for the head of Lazarus in 'The Entrance of Christ into Jerusalem' by Benjamin Robert Haydon was worth GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,050.22) to a buyer in July 2012. This price was achieved in the auction Andrew Wyld: Connoisseur Dealer at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Benjamin Robert Haydon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heracles and Persephone in December 2000 with an auction result of GBP 25,850.00 (€ 41,178.82).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Andrew Wyld: Connoisseur Dealer bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches.
