Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Critics by Benjamin Cañas was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,924.88). Other works by Benjamin Cañas have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 60,000.00 (€ 50,890.59) in November 2005 for the work The Nightwatch of Dr. Kauffman.

Die Arbeit The Critics von Benjamin Cañas kam im Mai 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.924,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Benjamin Cañas haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 50.890,59) im November 2005 für die Arbeit The Nightwatch of Dr. Kauffman beobachtet.
