Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 16,450.00 (€ 26,396.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ben Marshall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Bravura', an iron-grey filly, with James Robinson up, with her owner Sir Robert Keith Dick, Bt., her trainer mounted on a grey pony to the left, on Newmarket Heath in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 234,541.47).
