The price achieved of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,633.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bela de Kristo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les fiancés Hongrois, which sold at auction in September 2008 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,203.54).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.633,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
