Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bedrich Grunzweig could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2000 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs, including Property from the Collection of auction, the work Selected images (1948-65) changed hands for USD 2,350.00 (€ 2,769.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Bedrich Grunzweig have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2019 by the work Between Heaven And Earth: Window-Washer Of The Un at USD 4,825.00 (€ 4,307.65).

In der Auktion Photographs, including Property from the Collection of wechselte die Arbeit Selected images (1948-65) für USD 2.350,00 (€ 2.769,27) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Bedrich Grunzweig wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2019 die Arbeit Between Heaven And Earth: Window-Washer Of The Un mit USD 4.825,00 (€ 4.307,65).
