Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bedrich Grunzweig could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2000 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs, including Property from the Collection of auction, the work Between Heaven and Earth (1950) changed hands for USD 1,997.50 (€ 2,353.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Bedrich Grunzweig have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2019 by the work Between Heaven And Earth: Window-Washer Of The Un at USD 4,825.00 (€ 4,307.65).
