Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Untitled; and a companion drawing by Beatrice Wood. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,189.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Beatrice Wood have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2011 the work Her Mistake was auctioned for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,468.47).
