Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2011 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Old Story by Beatrice Wood. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,374.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Beatrice Wood have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2011 the work Her Mistake was auctioned for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,468.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2011 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Old Story von Beatrice Wood zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.374,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Beatrice Wood konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2011 die Arbeit Her Mistake für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.468,47) versteigert.
