Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Fish by Bart van der Leck was worth EUR 20,000.00 to a buyer in June 2015. This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bart van der Leck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Compositie No. 3 in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 313,250.00 (€ 363,857.63).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Fish von Bart van der Leck war einem Käufer im Juni 2015 EUR 20.000,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bart van der Leck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Compositie No. 3 im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 313.250,00 (€ 363.857,63).
