Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Barry Le Va was sold in the On Paper | Online auction at Christies in New York in February 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,591.09). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Barry Le Va - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three works: (i) Double Drawing; (ii) Untitled (feld & glas); (iii) Sheets to Strips to Particles, which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,773.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Barry Le Va wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion On Paper | Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.591,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Barry Le Va mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Three works: (i) Double Drawing; (ii) Untitled (feld & glas); (iii) Sheets to Strips to Particles beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.773,27) versteigert wurde.
