Admittedly, works by Barry Le Va have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three works: (i) Double Drawing; (ii) Untitled (feld & glas); (iii) Sheets to Strips to Particles in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,773.27).

Die Arbeit Sculptured Activities von Barry Le Va kam im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.162,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Barry Le Va auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three works: (i) Double Drawing; (ii) Untitled (feld & glas); (iii) Sheets to Strips to Particles im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.773,27).
