Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hare with Ball by Barry Flanagan was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 201,600.00 (€ 240,466.51). Admittedly, works by Barry Flanagan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nijinski Hare in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 1,451,250.00 (€ 1,684,421.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hare with Ball von Barry Flanagan wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 201.600,00 (€ 240.466,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Barry Flanagan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nijinski Hare im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.451.250,00 (€ 1.684.421,98).
