Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Barbro Östlihn was sold in the The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2012. It achieved a price of SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,535.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barbro Östlihn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "2-4 Ferry St. NYC" in November 2021 with an auction result of SEK 540,000.00 (€ 52,674.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Barbro Östlihn wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.535,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Barbro Östlihn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "2-4 Ferry St. NYC" im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 540.000,00 (€ 52.674,76).
