In May 2020 Bonhams in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Construct NYC-9 by Barbara Kasten. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,700.00 (€ 9,641.38), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Barbara Kasten; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Double Negative 6 sold at auction in March 2019 with the realized price of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,132.88).

Im Mai 2020 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Construct NYC-9 von Barbara Kasten zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.700,00 (€ 9.641,38) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Barbara Kasten; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Double Negative 6 im März 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.132,88).
