It achieved a price of USD 20,320.00 (€ 19,198.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Banks Violette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work burnout (fadeaway), vol.1 in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 205,250.00 (€ 259,442.88).

Die Arbeit Not Yet Titled (Flag Edition) von Banks Violette kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.320,00 (€ 19.198,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Banks Violette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit burnout (fadeaway), vol.1 im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 205.250,00 (€ 259.442,88).
