Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2005 Christies in London held the auction British Pictures 1500-1850, which included the work A View On The River Skell At Studley Royal, Yorkshire, With Figures On A Bridge, Cascades Beyond, And Herons Below by Balthazar Nebot. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 39,126.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Balthazar Nebot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Covent Garden Market, which sold at auction in May 2005 for GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,436.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British Pictures 1500-1850 durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View On The River Skell At Studley Royal, Yorkshire, With Figures On A Bridge, Cascades Beyond, And Herons Below von Balthazar Nebot zur Versteigerung kam.
