A top price for Balthazar Nebot - as previously expected

The work Covent Garden Market by Balthazar Nebot was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2005. The price achieved of GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,436.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Covent Garden Market is the most expensive artwork by Balthazar Nebot that we have observed at auctions so far.
