In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings, which included the work Covent Garden Market with fruit sellers by Balthazar Nebot. The price achieved of GBP 46,850.00 (€ 52,761.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Balthazar Nebot have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2005 the work Covent Garden Market was auctioned for GBP 66,000.00 (€ 97,436.72).
