The work Bambus (Bamboo) by Balthasar Burkhard was worth EUR 21,250.00 to a buyer in November 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Balthasar Burkhard; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Montagnes (Diptyque, Tirage Positif Et Tirage Négatif) sold at auction in May 2009 with the realized price of EUR 31,950.00.

Die Arbeit Bambus (Bamboo) von Balthasar Burkhard war einem Käufer im November 2019 EUR 21.250,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Balthasar Burkhard; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Montagnes (Diptyque, Tirage Positif Et Tirage Négatif) im Mai 2009 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 31.950,00.
