Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composizione di frutta con vaso di fiori e pappagallo by Baldassare De Caro was sold in the Mobili e Dipinti antichi, Argenti, Sculture, Pendole, Tappeti e Tessuti, Strumenti musicali, Disegni e Incisioni di antichi Maestri auction at Il Ponte in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,500.00. Admittedly, works by Baldassare De Caro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Upturned Basket Of Figs, Together With Apricots, Other Fruit And Flowers In A Landscape Setting in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 36,602.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composizione di frutta con vaso di fiori e pappagallo von Baldassare De Caro wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Mobili e Dipinti antichi, Argenti, Sculture, Pendole, Tappeti e Tessuti, Strumenti musicali, Disegni e Incisioni di antichi Maestri bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Baldassare De Caro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Upturned Basket Of Figs, Together With Apricots, Other Fruit And Flowers In A Landscape Setting im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 36.602,64).
