Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work A Still Life With Dead Game And A Porcupine Hanging From A Branch by Baldassare De Caro. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,027.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Baldassare De Caro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Upturned Basket Of Figs, Together With Apricots, Other Fruit And Flowers In A Landscape Setting in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 36,602.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With Dead Game And A Porcupine Hanging From A Branch von Baldassare De Caro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.027,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Baldassare De Caro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Upturned Basket Of Figs, Together With Apricots, Other Fruit And Flowers In A Landscape Setting im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 36.602,64).
