In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction Discovering Old Masters: The Legacy of Piero Corsini, which included the work A Dead Hare With Birds, A Landscape Beyond; And Dead Birds, A Landscape Beyond by Baldassare De Caro. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,662.49) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Baldassare De Caro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Upturned Basket Of Figs, Together With Apricots, Other Fruit And Flowers In A Landscape Setting in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 36,602.64).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.662,49) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
