Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Landscape With Hounds Together With A Still Life With A Goose, Mallard Drake And Songbirds; A Landscape With Three Hounds Together With A Still Life Of Dead Game by Baldassare De Caro was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in Olympia in December 2006. The price achieved of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,809.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Baldassare De Caro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Upturned Basket Of Figs, Together With Apricots, Other Fruit And Flowers In A Landscape Setting, which sold at auction in December 2008 for GBP 34,850.00 (€ 36,602.64).

Die Arbeit A Landscape With Hounds Together With A Still Life With A Goose, Mallard Drake And Songbirds; A Landscape With Three Hounds Together With A Still Life Of Dead Game von Baldassare De Caro wurde im Dezember 2006 in der Auktion Old Master Paintings bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.809,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
