Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Bai Xueshi was sold in the Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,389.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bai Xueshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape of Li River in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,485,000.00 (€ 425,603.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Bai Xueshi wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.389,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bai Xueshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape of Li River im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.485.000,00 (€ 425.603,21).
