Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Bai Xueshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 38,443.73) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bai Xueshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape of Li River in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,485,000.00 (€ 425,603.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bai Xueshi erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 38.443,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bai Xueshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape of Li River im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.485.000,00 (€ 425.603,21).
