The work Orchid by Bai Jiao was worth AUD 18,450.00 (€ 15,085.85) to a buyer in December 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Paintings at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Bai Jiao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem In Xingshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).

Die Arbeit Orchid von Bai Jiao war einem Käufer im Dezember 2020 AUD 18.450,00 (€ 15.085,85) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bai Jiao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
