A top price for Bai Jiao
This artwork by Bai Jiao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Poem In Xingshu sold for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. This high result makes Poem In Xingshu the most expensive artwork by Bai Jiao that we have observed at auctions so far.
