Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year POLY held the auction Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III, which included the work Ink Orchid by Bai Jiao. The price achieved of HKD 6,000.00 (€ 704.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bai Jiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poem In Xingshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Collections of paintings preserved by overseas collectors III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ink Orchid von Bai Jiao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.000,00 (€ 704,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bai Jiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
