Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Singapore River Scene by Aw Tee Hong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,582.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aw Tee Hong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Singapore River in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 103,004.75).
