Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Avner Ben-Gal could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 auction, the work Tsunami changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,203.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Avner Ben-Gal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parrot, From The Series "Eve Of Destruction", which sold at auction in November 2009 for USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,505.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Avner Ben-Gal konnte im Juli 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 wechselte die Arbeit Tsunami für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.203,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Avner Ben-Gal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parrot, From The Series "Eve Of Destruction" beobachtet, die im November 2009 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.505,00) versteigert wurde.
