Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2012 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Avner Ben-Gal for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,421.96). This price was achieved in the auction Israeli & International Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Avner Ben-Gal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Parrot, From The Series "Eve Of Destruction" in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,505.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2012 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Avner Ben-Gal für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.421,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Avner Ben-Gal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Parrot, From The Series "Eve Of Destruction" im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 12.505,00).
