Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elevator, 2006 by Avner Ben-Gal was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,101.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Avner Ben-Gal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parrot, From The Series "Eve Of Destruction" in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,505.00).
