Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2002 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Composition by Avigdor Stematsky. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,987.50 (€ 11,094.76), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Avigdor Stematsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract Composition, which sold at auction in December 2017 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,954.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Avigdor Stematsky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.987,50 (€ 11.094,76) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Avigdor Stematsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abstract Composition beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.954,25) versteigert wurde.
