Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Avigdor Stematsky was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,673.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Avigdor Stematsky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2017 the work Abstract Composition was auctioned for USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,954.25).
