In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna, which included the work Studies of legs, lower torsos, arms and a shoulder ( recto ); Faint study of a torso and legs ( verso ) by Aurelio Luini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,606.92), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aurelio Luini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A hermit contemplating a crucifix, with studies of putti and a head in profile in July 2004 with an auction result of GBP 83,650.00 (€ 126,413.56).

Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours Including Works from the Collection of Jean Bonna durch, in der auch die Arbeit Studies of legs, lower torsos, arms and a shoulder ( recto ); Faint study of a torso and legs ( verso ) von Aurelio Luini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.606,92) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aurelio Luini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A hermit contemplating a crucifix, with studies of putti and a head in profile im Juli 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 83.650,00 (€ 126.413,56).
